Yesterday, I got word that my father was diagnosed with a heart blockage. I suspect he may have had it at least as far back as 1999.

He's supposed to have an operation at 10:00 this morning.

From what I've heard, the doctors, surgeons, etc. won't know the severity of his condition until they actually operate.
