We have to understand what humbleness... leads too.

To answer this, we can say one word as well... "Obedience".

I bet if I left this as is, it would be enough but I'll explain some and begin with a scripture:

Philippians 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

It seems that many of us "impose" or in other words, FORCE humbleness upon ourselves and force ourselves to live a humble life or be humble in some elements of our life. Did Jesus "impose" Himself to be a man in the flesh by shedding His "GLORY" (v7)?? NO... He didn't "force" Himself to shed His GLORY like MANY of us do shed whatever to show or express "OUR" humbleness.

When a person is "humble" then they are not forcing anything upon themselves, a person who is in COMPLETE humbleness to God allow ANYTHING He desires for us to do. Like Jesus, who shed His GLORY in obedience, nothing is "forced".

This does not mean that obedience is easy! Jesus expressed Himself quite honestly in that garden but this example shows us... when it's tough, we do it ON OUR KNEES, as we are TRUSTING in God!!!

Take any given pastor in the entire world... how many "force" themselves to be a servant TO their flock while others don't force themselves AT ALL, yet they are in full service TO their flock??

Now... for God to get us to a point of such a humbleness, we will find ourselves in trials and storms that will result in our circumcision while God is CUTTING away from us ANYTHING that will stop us or hinder us from being in 100% OBEDIENCE to Him.

I'll tell you the first thing that He'll cut away... that FALSE humbleness of what we forced upon ourselves and as a result of removing something from our lives by our OWN effort(s), we say to God... "I am humble."

When we have to say, "I am humble" or "because I did this, I am now humble"... this is THE fruit of a person who IS NOT, humble. "In" humbleness... a person will continue to do as God leads them, even if they have to continue in silence and the actions they do in accordance to God's will, God does His part and the fruit produced does ALL the speaking. Even when others viewing the fruit continue to not hear, or when they ignore, and even should they persecute/question the one who is simply... doing as led. In humbleness, all/any who are humble will continue to do as God leads, no matter what is against them and no matter WHERE they are led.

The problem with those who have imposed/forced themselves to be humble, is that the moment they are up against something that REAL humbleness will give sustainment... they crumble instead. False humbleness also does not enable/empower a person to GO WHERE God wants them to go either.

DO you believe that Jesus would have been able to GO TO the Cross, if the shedding of His GLORY was self-imposed or forced upon Himself? NOOOOOOOO!!! He'd not even be able to be in the flesh with such a false humbleness!!!

Since "we" all BEGIN in the flesh, this means that God MUST prepare us to face/DO ANYTHING and by shedding what needs to be shed, this preparation (any circumcision period) enables us and equips us to get through the WORSE of it! WHY... because the removal of ANYTHING was done willingly and was not forced. For God to prepare any of us, He has to put us through a situation that may almost KILL us (the way we may feel while it's happening) but in the end, what parts of us THAT are LEFT behind us while we continue to MOVE forward (whatever was shed)... this is when we WILL DO and GO anywhere that God wills for us. No matter WHAT we face while doing and/or going!

Such as "persecution" from this world... only those who are TRULY humbled, will they make it through and continue to move and DO, despite any and all persecution.

All others, no matter HOW humble they say they are... are shut down and/or will be shut down in one way or another.
