			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>Most people acknowledge that the 70 weeks explained to Daniel in Dan 9:24 actually refers to 70 x 7 years.<br />
However what very few pick up on is that this 70 weeks is split into 7 weeks, 62 weeks and 1 week.<br />
Most commentators join the 7 weeks to the 62 weeks and so make it into 69 weeks and 1 week. This seems to be true regardless of the understanding of when the final week occurs.<br />
My questions for discussion are:<br />
1) Why does the angel separate out the 7 weeks?<br />
2) When does the 62 weeks start?<br />
<br />
One answer I am aware of is that the 49th year was a Jubilee - however I reject this on the grounds that it is the 50th year when the Jubilee is celebrated. Also that would mean that if the 69 weeks start on a certain year then that year must also be a Jubilee year.<br />
Now under a separate thread &quot;7 Years tribulation?&quot; we have looked at this a bit so I don't want to repeat any of that if possible. What I hope is for people to share what they understand in order to answer the two above questions.</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>Those who weep and gnash their teeth when they see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of heaven, but are themselves thrust out (Lk 13:28; Matt 8:11-12), I believe correlates with the resurrection in DN 12:2, following the great tribulation when a blessing is bestowed on the saints on day 1,335 (DN 12:12).<br />
<br />
While the individuals thrust out in Lk 13:28; Matt 8:11-12 represent the children of the kingdom (the Jews); additionally, those who are thrust outside include, dogs, sorcerers, immoral persons, idolaters, and every one who loves and practices falsehood  (Rev 22:15), representing billions of people throughout the world.<br />
<br />
The weeping and gnashing of teeth means these people continue on the earth in human form following the Great Tribulation along with the Lords people.<br />
<br />
What seems to be indicated by being thrust out is a separation occurring between Gods Spirit and Satan.<br />
<br />
Another event appearing to describe this seperation is Revelation 12:10 where the devil is cast down to earth and is no longer able to bring up accusations against the elect, thereby indicating Satan's influence over the saints coming to a close following the Great Tribulation period.<br />
<br />
The outer darkness the rest of the world experiences would seem to represent a continuance of socioeconomic systems throughout the world that are outside of Gods guidance after the big split. <br />
<br />
As many of the worlds systems today appear to be falling apart due to all sorts of injustices; when Gods illumination is removed from some nations, it may then be realized how things will only get worse, thereby accounting for much of the weeping and gnashing of teeth within those nations.<br />
<br />
 I'd like to hear from anyone who thinks they may have a better explanation meeting the criteria for these events.</div>

I don't know if anyone here is interested in the location of Solomon's Temple, or just love biblical archeaology, Like where Solomon's Portico was located among the ruins, but if you are then I have a website that you will love!  I have been using antique maps and ruins of the Mount and Ophel for the last 10 years to determine the old location of David's threshing floor where he set up the altar.  You will be amazed at how much evidence there is for a location at the south end of the Mount.  <br />

It is clear that little is mentioned about it in Scripture besides the obvious eternal life with Christ. However, there is one aspect which has troubled/encouraged me (depending on who I ask!). Will the human race continue to multiply in eternity? I do not believe there is an answer to this question because there are no places in Scripture which definitively confirm or refute the theory. As much as I would hope the joy of raising children is blessed to all who desire it (plus, imagine all that wasted space in the universe :lol:), I recently decided to sit down and dig through the Word to find even a slight indication in favor or opposed to the idea. Here is what I have found so far. I'd love to hear your opinions!<br />
<br />
<font color="#ff0000">1. Isaiah 65:17, 23<br />

17 “See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered,nor will they come to mind.&quot;<br />
23 &quot;They will not labor in vain, <u>nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune</u>; for they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they and their descendants with them.&quot;<br />
<br />
Verse 23 is perhaps the strongest Scriptural evidence I have in favor of New Earth procreation (NEP for simplicity). Notice the underlined portion which can also be read as &quot;They will not bear children doomed to misfortune.&quot; My argument is this: why would God make such a promise with the absence of birth? It seems unnecessary to say children will not die prematurely if there are no children to die prematurely! Verse 23 is depicting a contrast to today's world where women miscarry, babies suffer diseases, etcetera. The contrast would be: women do NOT miscarry and babies do NOT suffer diseases. In my opinion, verse 23 seems irrelevant under the premise that NEP will not take place.<br />
<br />
<font color="#ff0000">2. Genesis 1:28, 31, Genesis 2:22<br />

</font>2:22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.<font color="#ff0000"><br />
</font>1:28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and <u>increase in number</u>; fill the earth and subdue it...&quot;<br />
1:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was <u>very good</u>...<br />
<br />
Here, I draw attention to the fact that the father-mother-children family structure was instituted during creation and was &quot;very good.&quot; It was not a system put in place after the Fall, and thus, we are to assume that it was God's original plan. Although this is less indicative than the passage in Isaiah, I feel that NEP would make sense its context. Certainly, it is out of character for God to eliminate/destroy something that is &quot;good.&quot; While certain marriage aspects introduced after the Fall (such as involvement with a government system, insurance, divorce, etc.) will be removed, Genesis makes it clear that God's intention was to have many, many families of His people to give Him glory! And, since satisfying His glory would take an infinite amount of time, it stands to reason that it would take an infinite amount of people. Thus, I argue that upon the restoration/cleansing of Earth and humanity, we will see the reintroduction of &quot;very good&quot; marriage and procreation.<br />
<br />
<font color="#ff0000">3. John 20:27, 1 Thessalonians 4:16</font><br />
<br />
27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”<br />
16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.<br />
<br />
It is clear that upon resurrection, we will receive new glorified bodies - that is purified <u>physical</u> bodies. While Scripture is not explicit in describing these bodies, one could induce based on Jesus's visit to His disciples and others that:<br />
<br />
A. Our bodies will at least resemble human anatomy today (John 20:27).<br />
B. Our bodies will function similar to humans today (Luke 24:28-32).<br />
<br />
Based on these inferences, it would be logical to assume that our glorified bodies will be restored to their intended optimal capacity. Thus, the &quot;very good&quot; creation of male and female along with their respective functions are not scrapped - instead, they are glorified! It is evident that the physical will undergo renewal and purification rather than destruction and replacement (I have not found Scripture which supports the idea of destroying and replacing).<br />
<br />
<font color="#ff0000">4. Luke 20:27-40<br />
<br />
</font>I am aware of the most common argument against NEP (particularly the marriage issue) which is found in Luke 20:27-40. In this passage, the Sadducees attempt to catch Jesus off-guard by asking Him a question about the resurrection regarding whom a widow of 7 husbands will be married to in heaven. This is Jesus's response:<br />
<br />
&quot;The people of this age marry and are given in marriage. But those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels.&quot;<br />
<br />
While this seems to mean there will be no system resembling marriage in place on NE, one should keep in mind that Christ's answer was more directed at the idea of resurrection rather than marriage (the Sadducees did not believe in the resurrection). Jesus was more interested in affirming that there will be a resurrection and not explaining any marriage system. After all, how could He explain a new system if they didn't even believe there would be a resurrection!<br />
<br />
However, the lesser part of Christ's answer I do not feel refutes any idea of a family-structure purification. Instead, I believe He was saying that our <u>earthly marriages</u> will be invalidated upon death, and no such application or ties will be present at the resurrection. In other words, earthly government will have no jurisdiction over any eternal union. One would not have to divorce their previous earth wife/husband to marry an eternal wife/husband, for example. But, this is just my take on it. Coupled with the arguments I presented above, I do not find Luke 20 in contradiction with NEP (although its interpretation is certainly crucial).<br />
<br />
<font color="#ff0000">5. Conclusion</font><br />
<br />
This isn't an important, life-or-death subject on which your very eternity depends. It is simply a cool idea which I have battled with for quite some time. Certainly the proposition that families will continue to be made and civilizations will continue to grow on Earth and perhaps even across the universe is enticing! I must be honest in saying that I would be severely discouraged if no form of marriage/procreation is planned in eternity (particularly because I have yet to experience either!), but I have faith that whatever the Lord has in store for His people it will be beyond our very imagination!<br />

This has always intrigued me...thinking what this sign will be.It has to be one that the whole earth will see it and know it's Jesus...because following this the WHOLE earth will mourn...believers and unbelievers.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>Prophecy can get confusing, especially since it seems to contradict itself. Daniel 7 lists four beasts, clearly describing them as kingdoms. The fourth beast is generally and very logically seen as Rome which continues with an unbroken timeline until the second coming.   This view of Rome being the beast contradicts Revelation 17 which mentions the beast re-appearing, and also Revelation 13 which mentions a wounded beast. How do we reconcile all these differences? What is the truth?<br />
<br />
I believe the truth is simple, Daniel 7 describes Western Europe (Rome) as the fourth beast, and during the end of Rome's reign, there is a ten horned kingdom influenced by a &quot;little horn&quot;. Horns, like beasts, represent kingdoms and sometimes the kingdom's ruler. Thus if a small horn rises and takes over the beast kingdom it means that a small country from within Europe's power, will arise and will dominate Europe. The beast (Europe/Rome) still exists, it just has a small country outside of Italy controlling it. <br />
<br />
This small country that dominates the world at the end is referred to in Revelation 17 as a country that ceases, and then re-appears to the amazement of non-Christians around the world.   <font size="2"> <b><span style="font-family: Verdana">17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.<br />

The only country in the world that has re-appeared, and was expected to re-appear by Christians, and yet shocked the unbelievers of the world , is ISRAEL.  It appeared in 1948, after Western Europe took over the region from the Islamic Ottoman Empire in World War 1 (1917). So here we have a small country re-appearing. The prophecy goes on to describe Europe/Rome as a whore -referred to as Babylon. This is clearly Rome, because Rev 17:18 describes the city of seven hills which rules over kings, and this was written when Rome was the city of seven hills and ruled over kings. The beast in Revelation 17 is not Rome, Rome sits on the beast, showing how control has shifted to this other country. This is ONCE AGAIN describing an outside country ruling over Europe.<br />
<br />
In Revelation 17, this control of Europe by the Middle East is symbolically represented by the bull (symbol of the Middle East) riding the woman (symbol of Europe/Rome). It is no co-incidence that the biblical symbol is perfectly matched by the modern symbol of the EU, the woman Europa sits on the bull/Zeus/Baal. How the Jews like the Rothschilds etc must laugh when they see their very control over Europe displayed openly on the EU's flag, and no-one is the wiser. If you know the story of the goddess Europa, she is raped and controlled by Zeus/Baal (the bull), who carries her away on his back.<br />
<br />
Israel controls the EU and the USA through an extensive financial network and lobbyists, and politicians on payrolls. This is openly known by non-Western TV networks as &quot;Western Imperialist Capitalism&quot;. Western bankers control the EU, the USA, Israel.<br />
