Buster found them so we put a garden fence around it to keep him out. The problem is ants, very tiny ones that cannot bite, have also moved into the bush and when we check on the bunnies the ants swarm us and them. I can't spray the ants with regular bug spray because of the baby bunnies..so I need something to repel the ants that won't keep the mother bunny from coming and feeding the babies. I found one site that says to use chalk or baking soda...does that sound like it would work or even a good idea? Or something else?

I am concerned the ants will keep the mother rabbit from staying very long to feed her babies too. They are more annoying then anything else. We did try taking them to the zoo yesterday to the wild life rehab but the lady there said as small as they are...their eyes aren't even open yet, would likely not survive and had a better chance staying where they were, even with the ant problem. She told us to check on them and what to look for if they stopped being fed, then we could call them and see about taking them back. I just need to find a way to repel the ants. I feel like its my fault they went into the bush in the first place because I rakes the leaves around the bush not realizing so many ants were living in the leaves. :/ So they moved into the bush.
