And what ever happened to those painless days
They seemed to have fled with the shine in the stars
And now sometimes you lie in your bed wondering why you should wake up
Believe me when I say
That it’s worth living with the scars
And sometimes we can’t see that it’s all about worship
And that He’s here all the time
Please look out your window for me
The sun rises on this morning
The day is worth living for
Wake up you’re alive, He’s on your side
Realize that this life is worth living
Because Love is the cure
Doesn’t take a doctor to prescribe
It’s the Love of the Savior
Something I just can’t describe
All I know is that it’s worth living for

I like it. It's hard for me to like poems that don't rhyme, but I am liking them better everyday. My last couple haven't rhymed, my style might be changing.

Your poem speaks volumes to me in a personal way. Every morning when I first wake up, I face a certain battle which is relatively new to me...maybe its because I'm getting a little older. But I am forced to confront some very profound challenges from the devil.

Oh, I overcome all right, Praise the Lord! But I take a special comfort from your poem.
