Hi; Trying to rebuild my faith

Good morning! I joined about a month ago and am just getting to introduce myself.

I have been a Christian since I was 9, but haven't always been strong in my walk with Christ. Early last year my fiance and I found a church that we fell in love with and were growing in Christ together.

Then something happened that really shook our faith and we have not been back to that church in over 4 months. We miss the fellowship and learning how to be better Christians, but we are both afraid of being hurt again.

I'm hoping to meet some strong Christians here and rebuild my faith and trust in the Lord.

Welcome to the board, Dawn. Eveything has a season....so, prayerfully, you will find another church...don't let satan tell you that you don't need one, cause you do. We all need Christian fellowship...However, we have to remember that people sometimes, make mistakes in their actions!!!

Hi Dawn, and welcome to forums! We certailnly hope you recover from your experience and find a good church home.

Pretty obvious the church has never been under such attack, and believers are being discouraged from pursuing flesh-and-blood fellowship and the gathering together. But we cannot give in.
