I just heard a preacher on the radio tonight say that as believers in Christ, we are blood relatives. Related to HIm and to each other by HIS blood. So true! :pp

I came here because I'd like to engage in Christian conversation online. I'm fifty-something and single, my kids are out of the nest and my dog and cat's communication skills are limited. Outside of my full time job and church (and second, part time job) I am pretty much a homebody but some evenings I get really bored with myself. And phone chatting is not my thing (ask my friends who leave messages that don't get returned for two days) BUT reading and writing are. :spin:

Thank you all. There are alot of forums to choose from and I'm not sure where to dive in. I am not a young/new Christian and have "been around the block" a bit. Ready for meat rather than milk if you know what I mean.

Hi newbie, I really enjoyed your intro here. Welcome to the forum. Sounds to me like you'll soon be "at home" with the family here. There are plenty of sections and threads where you'll find challenges and consolations. You can even start a thread of your own too. Just scroll down and check out the ones relating to "Bible Chat" if you want to discuss the bible in depth. And if you need Counsel or want to help us give it there is Counseling Requests. And prayer and praise sections too. We even have a place for "Anything Goes." well, almost anything as long as it is done with charity to all. Enjoy! Glad you found us! :pp
