Hi! I'm Laura! I'm never good at introductions but here goes...
I'm a Christian mom and wife, a nurse. I'm active in my church and community. I'm trying to help establish a parish nursing outreach in my church right now. I'm in the process of building a koi pond with my family and it's been a fun adventure! I've been a Christian for over 30 years. The welcome email asked for a few specifics: What brought me here? A Yahoo search, I think. I came here a few days ago and tried to register but I never received my activation email, so I re-registered. What do I hope to gain from this board? I always hope to grow in the Lord and learn more. I think that as Christians we can learn from each other and sharing new ideas is always fun. I also hope to both give and receive encouragement. I respect my pastor greatly and feel I have a pretty good understanding of most of the scripture but that's not to say I can't gain new insight from others regarding passages. I guess I'm here because the Lord led me here.
