Hello. My mom asked me if i wanted to drop out of school after i was attacked i said yes. But i may have not told her the entire story of what happend becuase i was shaken up and the rest of the story could of changed her mind.I really did not like school and was not good at it and a year later without school i am doing fine and i am happy i tried to tell her the story about a week after i was shaken up and she said its over now. Would i be commiting a sin if i dont tell her the rest of this story?

If your mother said it's over now, then it's over now.

From your post, I'm not too sure on something -- do you WANT to tell your mom what happened? Do you feel the need to tell her, or the need to go back to school now that a year's passed and you're alright? Either way, keep the lines of communication wide open with your mom. If she'd prefer to put something behind her that you need to talk about, you can always explain that to her respectfully. If she'd prefer to put something behind her that you'd also like to leave in the past.... then what's past is probably past. Time to move on, in that case.... and if you had any part in that fight/attack you feel bad about now, it may be best to confess it to God, ask for His forgiveness, and keep on going with your life.

Praying for you.

You know, just you asking if it is a sin is showing a tremendous amount of respect for your mom and the LORD!!!! At least you are trying to do the right thing, it seems.....Just pray about it!!! If, after praying, you want to tell your mom, you can try. However, if she doesn't want to hear it, then let it drop...Amen!!!

God Bless You....Praying that you will finish your education and stay in the Word of God...
