lol I have heard this one before (well seen it)...its still makes me smile though..I think we ought to be able to play it once a day for our kids then don't have to actually say all this stuff over and over again! :lol: I know I would like to tape record myself saying things like "Nate get up" over and over again...and "Nate its time to get to bed" over and over again...I get tired of hearing myself!! :lol:

:lol::lol::lol: You know I almost used that 'if everyone jumped off a bridge would you too?" on Nate the other day over something...oh yea, it was some word all the kids are using that I think it really wrong to be saying..its not a cuss word but is a word I just think is wrong to be calling others...:rolleyes: So I get this, " But all the kids are saying it!" and I really thought about saying that! "Well if all the kids jumped off a bridge would you too?" :lol: But I stopped myself because that never made sense to me when I was growing up (there is no comparison) so I knew if I said it Nate would be going..uh? How is saying a word the same as jumping off a bridge...:cool: I gotta think of something else...:hmm:

I finally just told him..."I don't care, you are forbidden to call people that!" lol.

The born in the barn and all of that other stuff.. Yea I confess....I used those....:cool::lol:

:rofl:Except for the DNA and a few other contemporary expressions..this sounds like my mom and many of the things she said when I was a kid like "standing up straight" and "I'll give you something to cry about." :P Ah, memories. :lol:as time goes by..
