Forgive my ignorance,but how do I post PICS in a thread?

I know this is something everyone in the world can probably do...

I have some funny,but Innocent political comic pictures to paste...but I don't know how to do it...:B

I have saved them to my computer under "My pictures" and I know how to paste them in certain places,but can't figure it out in message board threads..

The "Insert image" painting icon requires a link,but I don't have one for these pics as they were sent to me by email(and I'm not using that)

Can someone help me?

Once you help me,I will show you guys the Funny pics here, that were sent to me....They have Palin,Mccain,Obama and Biden..innocent but funny

Use an image hosting site like photobucket.com. Upload the pictures to your album there, and then you can link them into the post using the image function.
