Alone Time With GOD Part 2...

Thanks to Roadwarrior, I have decided to go ahead with this thread. I did do Alone Time With God, but, thought I would start this thread. And, this thread is not just for my alone time with GOD, it is for yours as well. So, if any of you have any ways you pray to GOD, you can fewel free to share it. I will start this tonight, and, come back in the morning. And, then I will come back in the afternoon if I am not busy with anything, and, tell you what I did, and, read, and, prayed about tonight. How does that sound? Thanks, Roadwarrior for making me think of this topic again. Let's all pray this goes well. AMEN, and, GOD Bless!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: Anyone can start their prayer time, and, share what they prayed about, unless you think it is way too personal to share.

I am not certain what you want me to share. But, alone time with God, IMHO, is the most important part of our journey as a Christian. It is sooo important that we encounter Christ, whether in prayer or through the Holy Scriptures before we go out into the world...

And, what I am wanting to know is anything you do to spend time with GOD. It can be prayer time, medition, the Holy Spirit, anything that you do to worship the LORD.

I had some alone time last night, and, I thought of the people affected by Hurricane Ike, and, asked Him to protect them as they rebuild their lives. Also, I listened to some positive music about being able to come to the cross, and, ask, and, praise His Holy name whe we are praying to Him. And, that we are not to be ashamed of doing this, even in the worst of storms. I THANK You LORD for allowing me to start this thread, which I hope it will be useful to a lot of the members, and, guests here. AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy to see that you are doing this. Alone time with God is very important to our walk with Him. And I thank you for praying for the people affected by the storm.

Your thread here is a testimony of your own personal growth and walk with God. Think of it as a witness, not a teaching, and God will be able to use it accordingly. :hug:

In the months to come, you will be able to look back at this thread and see how much farther you have traveled down the road. I pray it will be a sure and steady route!

That is great you did that! I haven't had a chance to look at the first thread yet. Yes, music is vitally important and helps us enter into the presence of the Lord. And that is awesome you prayed for those people!!! Good for you!

If I can think of one of the most important things that happened right after I became born-again, it was, some believers took a personal interest in me and invited me to a Bible Study in Romans. There were only 4-5 of us there. But, the Lord used that to begin to instill in me the importance of being in the Word.

It is imperitive that we begin reading the Bible early for that is how we begin getting grounded in the truth. And, only as we get grounded in the truth will we be able to recognize all the false doctrine and heresies out there.

We must think of our alone time as building a relationship with God. Think of it...God condescended to come to this earth because He wanted us to be with Him and have an intimate relationship with Him from now and forever!

How special we must be to Him!!! How valuable..to Him!!!

There is a verse in the bible somewhere where it says about being young when we learnthe word. Can somebody point me to that piece of scripture?

I did have a wonderful time with GOD last night. If you read my blog entry about this horrific world, you will see what He has taught me. He has taught me a lot of things that I would not have learned without His help. Thank You LORD for teaching me something new everyday!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
