Stuck in my chair unable to move, I am only able to stare.
Stare out the window; I’m not going anywhere.
Though as I sit in thoughtful meditation
Watching the world go by, watching God's creation
I see the order of it all, God's plan
And I realize that I am simply a small man
Even though I cannot understand His ways
I can see His love for me, and I am amazed
For I see with eyes He has opened by His grace
And I hear His word; see His touch all over the place
I see the way He provides for the turkeys and deer
And I feel his presence for He is always near
How can I feel bad about my plight?
How can I complain that it is not right?
No I don’t feel bad at all, no anger do I hold
How can I be so arrogant, so bold?
For all the things I view out my window, all I see
He has provided it all for a little man like me
I am blessed among all my fellow men on this earth
For what He has given me, He has given more than I am worth
And someday when I am allowed to go home, to that place
The one we as believers know is ours due to His grace
I will fall to the ground, fall at His feet
And worship Him the only one whom death could not beat
And true to His humble nature I am sure
He will lift me up for He has made me pure
Thank you God for all I see as I sit and admire the view
Thank you God for all you do
Stare out the window; I’m not going anywhere.
