In recent times our (hubby and I) had our whole world turned upside as our Lord began to put pressure on us for hubby to give up his full time job (6o hours per week) and take on a part time job so he could be at home to help care for me as I go through a period of healing. We prayed and we prayed, we listened and followed through on several things the Lord said to do, until finally it came to the night before the day my hubby would have to give up his full time job. To say he was petrified of not being able to provide for his family, with a gazillion questions running through his mind, i.e. will I find a job that fits into school hours and so on, would be an understatement.
However we had to place our trust and faith in Him. The next day he resigned, and that day, to cut a long story short, he followed what God told him to do and he got an interview for a job, which he went to the following day and they asked him when he could start!! Praise the Lord! Now we were excited at first thinking this job was a forever job, but it turned out this was only a fill in job whilst some guys were on holidays, so of course the worry could have set in again, but God didn't give us time. Hubby was doing some building work for a friend and the timber yard he rang he got to talking to them about what he does and as things go they happened to mention that in the near future they'd be looking for someone part time!!!
Well, we didn't know how the timing would all work out. Would the timber yard want him before this job finished, or too far away after this job finished and he'd be out of work for too long? All answers only God had. Praise the Lord - Hubby finishes up at the end of this week at his current job, today the timber yard rang and said they need him to start sooner than they had thought!! Praise you Lord, for taking care of us, you have everything planned so much better than we could ever organise ourselves. This is just incredible, we listen and obey and you sort out every detail. I thank you for being so awesome. I love you.:hug:
