Brand new Christian here.

Hello, all! My name is Denny, I was saved almost 2 months ago. It's been an interesting transition so far, haven't had much guidance, AND I just moved an hour away from my church, so I'm looking for a new one in my area. A lot has happened in a short amount of time, and it's a little overwhelming. Through Christ's influence, I've managed to keep a level head about it all. I have a lot to learn... my journey has just begun. I look forward to learning from all of you.

Interesting facts about me: I grew up overseas, because my father was in the Navy. I lived the first 31 years of my life as an atheist... mostly due to apathy. I served in the US Navy for 4 years, got to see a lot of the world. I have a son, he is 10 years old. His mother has been out of his life since he was 6 months old. I play the piano, bass guitar, and all brass instruments. I'd love to play for my church some day. I love cooking, and I'm actually pretty good. Well, that's a little about me. I hope to meet many fascinating children of the lord and trade stories, knowledge, and experience. God bless you.

I think I've found the church I've been looking for! I've gone to 2 Wednesday night services, and one Sunday worship service. So far, I've enjoyed every one of them immensely. I really felt the Holy Spirit in this church... the pastor's words touched me and really made me think. I find myself barely able to wait until the next service. I'll atend a few more weeks before making a definite decision, but it's looking good so far.
