Satan is trying to destroy a Loving Christain family

This is a copy of one of the posts from the thread I have in the Counseling Corner.

It has come to light that not just my friend is under attack, but her whole family as well.
Please keep her parents, her sister and her in your prayers.


I just found out that it sounds like my friend's family may be on the verge of divorce.
Her parents are spending 90% of their time + energy in / with their ministry(and other things) and only 10% with their children and family.
Also, her mom wants to attend one church, her dad wants another,
and neither of them really likes the church that me and my friend attend + serve at.
There are other issues in her family, but I can't go into them because they are of a private nature.
My friend feels like she is caught in the middle and doesn't know what to do.
She is afraid that she may have to stay home more and stop attending / serving at least as often.
Especially if this if this 'blows up' / gets worse.

Please pray that this is resolved, and no matter where my friend ends up.
That it will be where Christ wants her to be, doing what He wants her to do.
Please also pray that that despite the many messages she is receiving
(from well meaning people, not so well meaning people, and her feelings / emotions)
that she will receive the Guidance, Wisdom, Understanding,
and Peace that pass ALL understanding that comes from Christ and Christ alone and only hear His voice as what to do next.


Please also keep in mind that she, her sister,
and her dad have medical problems that make them even more prone to feelings of anxiety, and depression.
Then they would be with out the medical issues.
The main medical issues are Marfan, and ADHD.

And yes I do have her permission to post this info + prayer request on her behalf.

Satan has been defeated and has no authority over Christians, unless we give it to him..Please let this family know that the strife that is going on, is an attack from the adversary, satan...We are in spiritual warfare...so we need to know what the armour of God is and how to apply it....Amen. Either directly or indirectly the issues are preventing my friend from fellowshipping.
Some of the issues have been encouraging her to just stay at home, and not bother going to (any) church. :eek:

Her dad seems to be doing what he has convinced himself what is best for his daughter,
and will not except different no matter what the source:..:B

The stress of satan using the issues to attack my friend and her family is taking a toll on me.
But much MORE important is the toll that it is taking on her and her family.
I haven't seen her lately but a mutual friend told me that in this past two weeks he has seen.
Her go through varying degrees of 'The blahs', anger ,contentment and almost every thing in-between.:cry:

I'm scared and worried BIG TIME.
Not for my sake, but for her's.:help:

PS. Also please pray that my friend and her father wouldn't hurt themselves.
As they both have a history of 'attempting / cutting' ,
and she has an eating disorder that causes her to eat less in proportion to her stress level.

Our mutual friend has confirmed what I feared.
The issues are making my friend feel more and more 'lonely' more and more often.
Her lonely feelings gave been ranging from 'no-one understands to no-one would miss me / care / notice if I....' .
This is scary as she does have a history of running away , 'attempting' and starving herself /
eating less and less as her stress goes up and/or her mood goes down.:eek:

As far as I know the people who need to know do.
But I really feel this is a spiritual attack on my friend where she is the weakest.

I don't know if I said this before.
But some people have suggested that it maybe time for my friend.
To 'spread her wings' / get her own living space /etc. .
Please pray that God will open / close doors and move + convict hearts and mountains according to what he what her to do.

Praying for extra protection for this woman in her vulnerabilities and for this family. Praying for conviction, sensitivity and also for patience and wisdom for all concerned. Praying for the preservation of this godly family, and that this woman's emotional needs would be addressed.

My friend's sister messed up big time and got pregnant as a result.
This is sending shock waves through her family,
and unfortunately there are those both in and out of the church that look down on my friend's sister,
for doing the deed, and down on her family for being there for her and the child.
I don't know about the father of the baby what his plans are, or what the family thinks of him right now.

Please pray for peace,guidance,perseverance,comfort,support, and provision.
For all that are involved.

This is effecting not just my friend and her sister, but the whole family.
And satan is trying his best to use this to his advantage.
Including trying to use this as a way to further isolate my friend, her sister and the rest of their family.
From each other and from The Body.

PS. My friend is older then her sister.
My friend is in her mid 20's and her sister is in her late teens.
And they are both unmarried, and living in the same house
as their parents.
