Karen, what a great thread to start! I've loved reading the posts, but have avoided replying because I was having such a hard time narrowing it down to 5 things! I appreciate so much about him, but I've decided my 5 will be the "little" things he does. :)
I appreciate that...
1 - Every morning when the alarm goes off, he reaches over and pulls me close to him.
2 - He tells me he loves me first thing every morning, last thing before we go to sleep, every time one of us leaves the house, and at the end of every phone conversation without fail.
3 - He will surprise me by going to the store and buying my favorite splurge foods when he feels like spoiling me (he hates going food shopping)
4 - He works extremely hard to provide for us.
5 - He shows his love for me constantly and in so many different ways (he covers all of the love languages and more!)

3. He loves me sooo much that He was even willing to die about 2000 years ago for ME! :o
4. He promises me good things and has promised to speak to the Father on my behalf regarding everlasting life.
5. He is not only my bestfriend but a teacher, teaching me how to live my life according to the Father's way.

Great thread and just like everyone else, I've enjoyed reading these. They're a testament to our Lord, as well as our husbands! :)
Five things I appreciate about my husband:
1) He enfolds me in his love every day of my life, which shows me how much my Lord loves me.
2) His sense of humor.
3) His desire to be the best husband he can possibly be (he succeeds very well!)
4) That he is worthy of respect because he is wise, faithful, loving, smart, kind, etc. (This makes the command to respect my husband VERY easy. :D)
5) Being married to him is like living in a real life fairy tale. (One that's now gone on for 31 years.)

#1 He is strong enough that little by little, I am able to be more feminine. His strength allows me to be vulnerable.
#2 He has accepted and continues to be a true father to my son, every day.
#3 He remembers small things that I don't do for myself and tries to do them/get them for me.
#4 He always wants me to snuggle closer at night.
#5 His constant effort to be a better human being is fantastic. He isn't perfect, obviously. But he works so hard at being the best man he can be.

1. I appreciate that God chose him as the spiritual head of our household and called him to a saving faith 2 years ago.
2. I appreciate that he is hungering and thirsting after a deeper relationship and understanding of God and has said yes to his call on his life.
3. I appreciate that he has been my best friend, trusted confidante, and soul mate for nearly 20 years now.
4. I appreciate that he is a loving father to our 3 daughters and is in partnership with me to raise them to be godly women.
5. I appreciate that God uses him to chasten me and convict me when I am fleshy and out of line, and that he says he is sorry, when he is. I also appreciate that he accepts me with my flaws, and encourages me to be brave and bold and walk where God is calling me to.
