from the first time you made that prayer, God started arranging things in the spiritual to meet it. He is still working in the physical, and on many people, if the plan involves alot of people e.t.c Please give God time. be patient with him. you know how long it took Abraham to get his son from when he was promised? Faith is the evidence of things hoped for.

Beachboy, it will help us here now that you have been moved into this section to explain your request more..so that others will be able to respond and give you spiritual advice about this.

How and when God answers also depends on the question or request. God often does not give us things which are not good for us or others..or not in line with the scriptures.

And in general..it's hard to know why God doesn't answer our prayers..but we keep on asking.

The Psalms are full of places where the Psalmist is crying out to God for answers which seem not to be forthcoming.

"Why, O Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?" (Psalm 10:1)

I am going to explain my situation which will make it easier for all to understand.

One year ago I had this strange feeling that somebody or something was trying to get in touch with me for some unknown reason. Can not explain how -just that I did.

One day I was riding around town and I just shouted out " God, are you trying to tell me something. If you are send me a sign because I am not understanding this ." 10 minutes later I was behind a car with the license plate that said 4GIVE. Started praying everyday.

Same night I was flipping through channels and I came across a religious show and heard the pastor say "Forgive me for the sins I have committed in the past."

Few days later I was looking out my door at night and saw a bright light that burst in a million pieces. Nothing out my door but darkness--no light polls or anything like that.

Maybe a month or more later I was lying on the bed praying and I hear 4 footsteps on the roof of my house. No trees near the house so it can not be animals. This was in the middle of the day.

There have been things that were put before me that said in essence that I would get the resources that I needed to do the project that I wanted to do.

I was shown/told that I would have a period of enlightment that most people never understand or get to experience.

I have been sitting in my house talking to God and all of a sudden my computer screen saver would go off. happened twice so far. Once I was talking to God in prayer and my smoke detector went off 1 time when there was no smoke in the house.

I can not believe all this is coincidence.

When I pray to God for what I want that would help millions of people all over the world I do not get an answer--or so I think. This would help believers as well as non believers on a daily basis.

This is what frustrates me. I pray and pray and pray and nothing happens. Why all these signs and no prayers answered.

Or maybe I am losing my mind.

Hey, Beachboy!!! I hear all that frustration in your PC voice. LOL Just know, that if you continue to trust our wonderful, all-knowing, loving, long suffering, comforting, peaceful, strong tower, refuge, Jehovah Jireh, God....HE will be there for you....only, HE, knows what is best for his children, and the best time to give them what they ask for, if there is a best time or if it is what's best for them at all!!!!....But, we are human and HE knows this....When our faith is tested or we are being taught a specific lesson, we must stand strong in our Faith...Alleluia:saint:

Try reading scripture that deals with patience...How about when God told Abraham, your seed will populate many nations....:hmm::hmm: At nearly, 100 yrs. old, what I would give for the kind of faith that Abraham had in God...He not only believed, but he was willing to sacrifice his son and be obedient to the Father....Wow, Wow, and Wow!!!!

Here's a scripture for you, and there are lots more, if you search your Bible...Psalm 46:10 Be still And Know That I Am God.

Just remember, we can't do a thing without HIM....Give HIM the glory at all times....especially, for Godly ideas that HE give to you....if they are of God, he see them through to fruition!!!! Amen...

I need to ask for this: You say that "When I pray to God for what I want that would help millions of people all over the world I do not get an answer--or so I think." I don't recall you sharing what you are asking God for and what is it you think will help millions of people all over the world..

Could you explain what it is and that should help us?..:)

The profits would be given the charities and organizations with the global distribution channels. Millions of members creating millions of dollars to be donated to worthwhile organizations.

I guess I am confused as to why you need to ask God's permission to do such a thing. God has commanded us to help out our fellow man. If your project would do such a thing, then he has already commanded you to do it.

This is a very ambitous project..but nothing is impossible to God. Just so you remember that on our forum we do not allow you to solicit monetary contributions from the membership here.

Also..not all signs are from God..even if they are unusual. Pray for wisdom and discernment and also..God's timing on this or any endeavor you wish to undertake.

My job is to be real with you, first of all I am glad you posted what it was you wanted to do for God which is very notable, I love when people get out there and work for God.

I take it your very Young probaly in your early twenties if you have made it that far yet. I also detect that you probably don't have the experience more like the passion like you said to do what you are wanting. But that is ok because you have something better than experience and because your still young you can take advantage of it. You believe, you don't beleive in limits, and that's awesome.

Now here is the advice, in my experience most of time although you can't put God in a box you have to exhaust everything you can do first then when you can't do it, God will do it. I am going to tell you how you can do for God what you are wanting and maybe that is the answer to your prayer, but first I want to tell you some things. Something that I have learned is that things won't just fall into your lap. We have to work for them we have to do the research and get it done. Oh, and about the you submitted a plan to God and He Hasn't answered it says in God's word Man makes his plans but God determines his steps.

So if you want to do for God then you are going to have to do some work and if your truly are wanting it to fall in your lap then I hope God in his grace will do that for you... But if you want to do the work go to Startlogic.com for $4.95 a month you can get a website and a free domain which is your .com and it has all the things you mentioned above you can do the blogs, forums, and picture gallerys. Once you have created the site you can submit it to google and yahoo for free and once you get a bunch of traffic then advertisers will come to you. That's how it works. No one will advertise on your site untill you can provide them with some stats which you can do from your control panel on StartLogic when you get some traffic. Don't be discourage you can do it.

Hey Beachboy. I'm glad this is in counselling now, not prayer... because I can offer you this advice.

While I'm sure you mean very well, you have to look at your heart.

Do you realise that you have just accused God in an arrogant way of not caring for "millions of people all over the world" as much as you do?

Do you realise that your desire to "help" these people is all mixed up with pride (it would be your project) and a sense of superiority?

Maybe God's not answering your prayer because He knows what's best for millions of people more than you do, and He knows what's best for your spiritual growth. Helping you to succeed in a project that would increase your own self importance at the expense of your attitude to God would be bad for you. You're treating God like He's a sleeping partner in the sale of the century.

Do you realise how grotesque that accusation of God is?

I imagine you're probably young, and very creative, and full of good ideas. Trust God, give yourself time to learn to hear Him, and to discern His will for your life, rather than what you want Him to do for you. God can and will use your talents. Just not in the way you're currently demanding.
