So I was driving back from the gym with my kids and I was in the HOV lane here in Seattle. Something in my gut told me not to go 60 the posted speed limit so I went 55 even though noone was in front of me. Some yahoo without even signaling pulled infront of my with about 3-4 feet to spare and slammed on his brakes. I slammed on my and spun out into the shoulder. If I had been going 60 I would have never even been able to slow down. The thing that gets my goat is he saw me spin out and he just sped off down the road and all the other cars just kept driving by. Its very hard to keep from getting angry in times like this.

Praise the Lord that you and your kids are safe. For the record, I think its quite ok to be angry. Your safety was jeopardized. Nothing wrong with honest anger, its your actions while angry that you have to watch out for.

Seriously its only thanks to God that somehow I felt to go slower and my car stopped in time otherwise if I'd been going 60 I would have hit him at 60 mph while he was stopped.
