I have very bad OCD to the point where they have to put me on meds. I am constantly afraid I'm going to hurt someone because I have bad intrusive thoughts :[ I've been praying to God way more and I could swear that the other day angels were following me cause I felt better and everywhere I went there was something to do with God, like at the carwash they were playing Christian music and all this random stuff. Anyways I can't sleep tonight :[
I keep praying to God to help me but I keep feeling empty. I'm afraid that I have a bad soul that is going to go to hell or is going to be lost forever. The middle of my chest feels like it has pressure on it like I am sinking and it is really unpleasant. I keep shaking and I'm afraid I'm going to be possessed cause when I think about being possessed my body acts weird and I feel like my chest is burning :[ I'm scared I want God to hold me so bad but no matter how hard I pray I still am not feeling better. My muscles ache so bad from all the shaking and I don't know what to do
:[ Please help:(:cry::help::confused

There will be concerned believers who are qualified and experienced enough to give you sound counsel on this Taylor, but I have the rest of this morning to keep you in prayer... and will include you in our daily group prayer.

Now praying, Taylor!

Yes, Psalm 91 is a celebrated declaration of a believer's perfect safety in the midst of spiritual battle and spiritual attack, once that believer has placed his trust in the Lord. It is a treatise on the love of God as well. I was about 15 or 16 when I began to trust the Lord in this fashion.

The "secret place" relates to the Lord being a place to hide when in trouble. The "shadow of the Almighty" speaks of our Lord's sovereign
power and authority. In other words, God himself has taken up my cause.

"What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against." Rm 8:31

I have heard several compare Ps 91:1 to a mother hen who will put her chicks under her wing and hide them when the wolf comes. Even if she loses her life, her chicks will be spared because she had so well hidden them.

Almost all of the references in the Psalm are about demonic attack: "snare of the fowler," "terror by night," "arrow that flieth by day," "lion," "adder," "young lion," "dragon," etc.

The key to the message is verse 9: "Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge (safe place), even the Most High, thy habitation(where you live).

Our Lord is perfectly aware of what you are experiencing and is here to intervene and to protect you.

I'm always very cautious, however, in areas where you may need to be under medical attention. I believe your are, but that is also very important, and the lord will provide for you in this area. Don't hesitate to
post back at any time!

PS: The Lord is already holding you, if you have placed your trust in Him, and feelings can be very untrusworthy things. If I trust Him regardless of how I might feel right now, my feelings will eventually catch up.:)

Only 15 huh, you are a little young to be having problems like this. Let me explain a couple of things I have a tendency not to finish some of my thoughts, but I want to help you. First of all what you are experiencing is spiritual warfare designed to pretty much destroy you and any of the work that you could do for God. Also it is designed to lead you away from the benenifits of being a child of God, which is peace, joy, and a sound mind. Did you know that no matter what is going on that we can have peace, joy, and a sound mind in Jesus. All we have to do is look at everything the right way. You remember when Jesus said the truth shall set you free? So, the opposite of that is a lie will put you in bondage. Do you feel like your in bondage? I believe you probably do. That means that you have set your mind on a lie of the devil, and not a truth of God or would feel free. Paul said we no the ways of the devil he has been using the same tricks since the beginning. First, thing the devil is using against you is he is making you feel like you have to stand before a Holy God and you aren't going to cut the mustard and he is making feel like your feeling are condemning you and that you are going to go to hell. He would be right if he were telling the truth, see under your own righteousness you would go to hell, but you will not stand before God under your own righteousness, you will stand there in the righteousness of Jesus which is perfect, and you will be accepted. So as long as you put your faith (believing in what you don't see) in Jesus you will go to Heaven. You are young but it your situation I feel this is relavant. You also need fight against these thoughts that the devil keeps throwing at you not under your own power because you have none in yourself, but the power of Jesus who has all authority in Heaven and on Earth. The Just shall walk by faith and not by sight. And if you think the Lord does not care about you, you are wrong He is working on your behalf right now, because just before I read your post I read Psalms 91. God is saying here the man that totally puts his trust in Him I am talking emotionally like a son would hide behind his dad when something scary is fixing to happen then like the son that man would be hiding safley behind God and he can be assured nothing is going to happen to him.

I hope this helped be blessed, and remember this is a battle not against flesh and blood but againt, powers and pricipalities of the dark. Our goal is to live endure and live out the Christian life and shine a light in a dark world so others might be saved.

Invite Jesus very specifically into your life and into your heart so that he may fill you with the holy spirit and fill that emptyness inside of you.

Here is a great prayer to do so. The words themselves will not invite Jesus in, it is the honest acknowledgement of your sinful nature and your need for Christ alone that will save you. This prayer will help you put those ideas into words:

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

I have been a Christian my whole life, but I still love this prayer. I love inviting Jesus into my heart even though I have done so many times before. It always fills my heart to ask Jesus again to fill me with his Holy Spirit.
