My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost seven years. And nothing yet. We each have a child from previous relationships. His son is 13 and mine is 12. We have been praying and praying and praying and we still have faith that one day we will have a child together. But I was hoping that I could get some help from you all here on scriptures that may help strengthen our prayers. We would so greatly appreciate it!
(I submitted this under Christians Answer, but I think it was the wrong place, I'm sorry! I'm new!)

tayariswife I believe God can give you a child. Along with prayer maybe you both need to get checked out medically to make sure there isn't anything stopping you from having children.
I used these scriptures when I was wanting to get pregnant: Gen 17:17 And Abraham fell upon his face and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born to him that is a hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear? Gen 17:19 And God said, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son indeed. And you shall call his name Isaac. And I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.Gen 21:1 And Jehovah visited Sarah as He had said. And Jehovah did to Sarah as He had spoken. Gen 21:2 For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. If God can give Sarah a healthy pregnancy at such advanced years then God can definitely do it for you. I will be praying for you.

Cry unto me and I will answer thee and shew thee great and mighty things Jer 33:3
The fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much.
Prayer is conditional. It must come from a righteous person and if we cry out with a loud voice, God will shew great and mighty things...is there any unconfessed sin in either of your lives that needs to be out? Ask God to shew you then ask your dh if he will pray over you with a loud voice. That is what crying out means in scripture-shout with a loud voice.
May God bless you during this time of waiting on Him that you will grow closer together and not grow faint.

As far as scriptures, remember Sarah in the Bible who was very old (way past her childbearing years) and God gave her a child.
