Sending a message of Praise to my God:
I have recognized Him as a healer, He has healed my life in terms of emotions.
I come from an Atheist family and I am sorry to say but my family has trouble expressing love.
After teenage years I equated sex with intimacy and have disgraced my temple.
After I came to God, slowly but surely He has taken a hold of my hurts and has transformed them (Praise God).
He has made me feel I am worthy of love.
He has made me feel I am worthy of patience.
He has even helped me be patient with my family who has hurt me unwillingly, to help me see why they do the things they do (they are so confused!)
When I met a man in my past, I would immediately decide that in exchange for the attention he has paid me, I should give up my body to him.
If I got to know him for a longer period, I would let him know without words that it was ok to hit me and/or control me.
NOW, when I meet a man, the first thing I consider is if he is a Christian (a real one!).
Secondly I consider if we want the same things in life and if he is willing to exhibit the Jesus/Church relationship with myself.
Can you believe that transformation??
I also agreed with God that if the guy is not willing to love me in a Christian way, I am better off by myself (afterall, I am married to His son, Jesus).
