He left in the night, quite a pitiful sight, with his friends and family he went.
Accross the brook, was the route that he took, and up Olivet's lofty ascent.
This one of great fame, had his head covered in shame, and no shoes had he on his feet.
One he had known, had taken his throne, but just over the hilltop was another he would meet.
This one it is said, brought him some bread, some donkeys and a bottle of wine.
Now this act of kindness, is there to remind us, of how he had laid his life on the line.
So tell me my friend, if you think that you can, this shamed one just who was he?
And this one who had came, to one in such shame, what might his name be?
