Need God's peace

I am going literally out of my mind with worry. As I have written several times throughout the past 6 months, my job may be eliminated. It seems to grow darker everyday. There will be thousands without a job if God does not intercede for us. I am just a complete wreck. I have been praying non-stop. And, no scriptures are helping me. I have applied to other jobs, but I have not heard anything. Because of past sin, that God has delivered me from, I am in huge debt. He has brought me so far from where I was 2 years ago, it is a miracle. He cannot abandon me now. But, that is how I am feeling. I do not know what to do, where to go, etc. I am so scared and lost. I do believe that He is working on this problem, but I just cannot feel it in my heart or mind. I need prayers so badly. I am literally like a zombie. I am just sitting for hours on end wrapping my mind over and over about being without a financial source. I honestly think that I am going to lose my mind at any second.

Offering prayers for peace and secure employment. The last year has been a rough one for hubby and I concerning employment:( I understand the stress of debt. Do the best you can and leave the rest to God.

It is not official, but we will be closing within the next two months. I do not know what to do. What am I going to do? Why won't God tell me?

Praying that you will see that the reason God hasn't told you yet, is because it's not yet time for you to know. It doesn't mean He isn't working behind the scenes.

The answer to pain (and worry is a type of pain) is to humble yourself under God's almighty hand, and recognize His right to rule.

You are His child. He WILL take care of you. He loves you and is right now working for your good -- even if that means you losing this particular job, in order for Him to get you where He wants you to go. For this job is NOT your source. God is your source. Praying that you will trust in Him and Him alone. He will bring the right opportunity to you in the right time.

He always does, ALWAYS, and your only job is to get in alignment with Him.

As you have shared your feelings and struggles right now you are not alone as so many face these difficult times.

Mainly you need to remain in supportive fellowship or find a church if you don't have one. And also to keep in the Word of God.

Trust God to hear your need and answer your prayers.

Focus on the kingdom of God even though you are surrounded by troubles. You are not, as you say, a "zombie."..You are a child of the king. But the kingdom is not of this world..and right now the main thing is to trust the Lord in all of this and keep turning to him in prayer. Don't give into fear.

John 14:1 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me.

Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you...In God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Psalm 5:11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad, let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

Your kind of worrying is not healthy...it's not from God. Satan wants to keep you in bondage to your fears.

I got laid off back in July. Not a great feeling. A lot of people in my company did. But you know what? God is in control, and I am trusting Him for every single dime that we need to keep things going. So far He has provided and I don't worry. Learn to trust Him completely - with EVERYTHING. Jobs come and go....money doesn't last. God promises to take care of our needs.

Remember to trust in the Lord. He has a plan and a purpose for you and your life. Pray for God's will to be done. The Lord taught me in a hard way (because I was being so hard-headed :rolleyes: ) that sometimes what we want for our lives is not what He has planned... but once you follow His plan, He can lavish His blessings upon you. Have faith in the Lord that He does have a plan for you, whether or not this current job is included. If it's not, it's because there is something much better for Him and His Kingdom that He has planned. :hug:
