IN GOD'S HAND

I'm just a small seed in God's hand.
Fragile, impressionable, and new.
I've only just begun to take root.

I need to be watered often
with God's love and tender mercies.
I need reassurance and encouragement.

I need for God to shield me from
the scorching sun.
From the discouraging darts of Satan.

The one who planted me,
His hands are strong and caring.
He nurtures my soul, gives me
freedom to grow.

All he really wants for me,
is to become, who He wants me to be.
