"Its Only Adam That You See"

" IT'S ONLY ADAM THAT YOU SEE"

As I journey through this world,
I try to be the best that I can be.
But I'm afraid that most of the time,
Its only Adam that you see.

Neighbor deep inside this earthly frame,
is one born from above.
He knows nothing of this world's bitterness,
for he is full of love.

But most of the time he's out of sight,
behind the one who's made of clay.
That's because he's quick to jump out first,
to try to get his way.

I pray each day that God above,
would grant the strength to me,
To get the jump on the man of clay,
so that its not only Adam that you see.
