Actually, I like all grapes/grapes, as long as they're seedless.

For eating raw, I prefer white (green) grapes. For grape-juice, I prefer red. For wine, they all have their virtues... besides once we get into the wine discussion we'd have to further categorize the white and red grapes by their different varieties. :)

As for the foot-pressing wine... I think that's the "old" way and only happens for wineries that do small batches. The large commercial wineries probably have a mechanical press.

Purple for me, they always taste sweeter. My hubby loves the green ones the best though so that's what we usually end up getting.

For eating - green - for drinking - red, and the darker the better!

FYI - put a green grape in the microwave - it will glow and spark.

I've read that purple grapes have more antioxidants in them than green ones.

I love purple grapes because they are sweet especially red globe grapes, compared to green grapes which are sour before it was suppose to be ripe. In Malaysia sometimes those red globe grapes are expensive, RM 8 per kg...

I don't mind either, but I agree that the purple grapes are sweeter. And yes - they have to be seedless! I don't get the point of having to worry about not swallowing the seed and spitting it out, as opposed to just enjoying the grape. Lol

When I was a kid, I wouldn't eat grapes unless someone peeled them first. I was such a princess ...

I won't eat grapes unless they're grapes.

I was sort of raised on the green seedless variety but do like the purple. Much prefer seedless for eating just for practical reasons. How about muscadines? We use to stumble across them growing wild when I was growing up. A nice treat that.

I like red grapes best, as long as I can't taste the feet.

I've never heard that about the green grape in the microwave. I sooooo have to try that. Sparks in the microwave are cool. Does the grape eventually explode?

Have you ever nuked a Marshmallow Peep? That's fun too.

All grapes are good. Can I vote for both? And seeds don't bother me; I just swallow them.

I like the fruits with no seed,

But I am not sure if there are purple seedless grapes.

Easier to chew i `d say.

Only two mods voted; and thats one for each option:)
Considering the volume of votes; does this mean the other mods dont eat grapes?
