Praise God for my NEW LIFE!!! I am recovered!!

I am overjoyed.

I know that God truly has healed me and is now guiding me in a new direction.

I spent the past year in the hospital in treatment for an eating disorder. I was very ill and had no hope left in life. I did not want to get well, I did not want a future, I was disheartened and discouraged. I had resigned to what I thought my life was going to be like.

A few months ago, I decided to turn my life over to God and see what happened. He is AMAZING!! I am now out of the hospital and filled with passion for life. All of my cardiac problems are GONE and now I have a medically clean slate. Praise be to God!!

Also, God led me straight to the university I am now attending. I prayed about it, and I just knew where He wanted to me to go... now I am there and my new life is just wonderful. I have new Christian friends, I am learning, I am making a difference in life.

A year ago, I never would think that I would be where I am today. Without God, I would still be struggling. Without God, I would feel hopeless and lost. But not anymore!!! My doctor and psychologist are amazed, and so am I!! They said they have never seen such a sudden recovery. I am now recovered thank you to God and Jesus, who led me here.

I just wanted to give an update:

I am still doing wonderfully medically, emotionally and spiritually. Ever since I turn my problems over to God:giveup: I feel like a brand new person!!

I am even considering, along with my psychiatrist, starting to taper off my medications because I am improving so quickly. I have begun to introduce my friends from the hospital to my Church because they too are amazed at my change in attitude. I've been praying for all of them and I know that if they are open to it, Jesus can change their lives too!!

I have decided I am going to go into children's counseling and I can't wait to get started. I know I have gone through everything I have for a reason, and I am starting to see God's reasons.

Please, for anyone reading this, remember that NOTHING IS EVER HOPELESS. Our God is too great and too faithful!! I could never have imagined being this pure and happy and blessed a year ago, but here I am today. :)
