I can't see me bothering with this site.
Everthing I click on seems to be disenabled for reasons that I can't find explained anywhere.
Shambolic chaos.

You gain more access with your time here, the board it set up that way to protect our members. Go to the Frequently Ask Questions and there you find out what, when and how.

Well, I've scrolled through as much of FAQ as my patience can stand (It's on a par with the notes that accompany a uk Tax Return) and I still find no explanation of qualifying 'time'.
Is it days, weeks, or months.
Couldn't you simply just tell me or give me a link that takes me to the specific bit that I must have missed?
Or is the process of 'discovery' pitched to be a qualifying factor?

Yes, we have a quiz the first of every month and if you pass we tell you.
Now, hold on, I forgot your question.......
You should have access to all the forum visible to you as far as posting goes.
And for PMing (http://bibleforums.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37729)7 days 10 post, I think it is the same for the profile stuff also
Avatar (http://bibleforums.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37652) stuff also 7 days and 10 post
7 days/ 10 post is to prevent members from getting spammed.
Signatures (http://bibleforums.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37651)
Fixing up your profile page is probably the same time frame.

Presumeably it's 7 days/10 postings which ever takes the longest.
Am I using up my 10 postings in this 'Test Posts' thread?
At least the smilies aren't disenabled.

Nope, it's not which take the longest, it's both, 7 days and 10 post. Sorry about that, but it is in place to protect our members, of which you are now, so be glad later down the road for the spam protections:)

At this rate we shall be friends before I've got through the preliminaries and then, when you find that I'm not the usual yet another parrot, we can begin to fallout:bounce:

I am not sure why you are waiting just for PMing and all, why are you so concerned about it and not just going ahead and posting and taking part in the discussions?

I'm a computer dumbo and lazy to boot.
I just couldn't navigate around.
But I did discover introductions and made a start there just before you posted.
I'm warming up.
