This past weekend I went on a women's retreat sponsored by my church, and praise the Lord, it was so awesome!
There were so many great messages throughout the weekend. The theme of the retreat was ''Living Authentically in a Counterfeit World''. It was such a great time of worship, prayer, fun, and drawing closer to the Lord.
At the start of the retreat, I prayed for the Lord to transform me, to mold me into who He wants me to be. Then after this the speaker who was there started talking about being real and authentic with God and letting Him mold us! It was just so cool, and I feel a lot closer to God.
A good lesson I learned was not to fight God, but to obey Him, talk with Him about everything, and lean on Him in everything. Even though I was a Christian before this weekend, I still feel like a changed person.
I know I've rambled on here, but I am just so awed by the Lord's power and love, and so thankful and just want to offer up all the worship and praise in the world to Him!
