I tell ya, I edit for a local news station in Tampa, and I see and have seen alot of evil stuff in this country and throughout the world over the course of 15+ years. I find myself praying for strength on a daily basis, mostly from the horrible heartache I get over the crimes against children. There are other stories that I work on that are just as disturbing, but the children in the news for negitive reasons are what bother me the most. God helps me, somehow he hardens my heart long enough for me to get my job done, then he re-softens it so that I can go home, leave the news at the station, and love my own 2 children(the greatest gifts He's given my wife and me). Praise Him to no end!!!
I also from time to time find myself questioning the goodness of man. What I mean is that there is so much bad in the news these days that I feel like good hearted christians are few and far in between. Recently I joined this forum and am eye wateringly overwelmed at all the folks who truely love the Lord! Praise the Lord for bringing so many to him in so many different ways!! He never ceases to amaze me! God bless everyone,and its good to know that there are lots of Jesus freaks out there!!:pp Again, and I can't say it enough --PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!:amen:
