thanking Christ for the changes in my friend

A while ago, I'd posted that due to a bad traffic accident, a dear, dear friend of mine had suffered some trauma, including to her head which affected her memory. Today, I am praising God for all He's done and doing for her! Her memory is still wiped out or very patchy... she gets confused, doesn't recall things and repeats herself... BUT....

- she's allowed me to "re-make" friends with her, and she's "re-made friends" with other old friends of hers... and when I talk to her, I hear sparks of the old wit and humour. All of our memories are somewhere "in there"... all 7 and a half years of memories. And her sweet, funny self is DEFINITELY still there!

- before this accident, she was "vaguely" Christian -- ie, she "believed", as she said, without a commitment. Now, after this accident.... this young woman is a born again believer who is reading her Bible, talking with others about how Christ is helping her through this, witnessing to friends and family... wow.

God's been helping her, holding her, blessing her, restoring her in a way bigger than I dreamed. And I'm praising Him. She needed Christ.... and at just the right time, she was able to let Him in to do His work! :pp
