Saving money and then proposing to my girlfriend

Well it's been long over due for this so I want to propose. I am only 20 years old, but I want to marry my girlfriend ASAP. I love her, shes my best friend, shes fun, shes goofy, shes silly, shes cute, shes nice, shes funny, shes my girl! I am going to start saving up here very soon and I'd like to ask God for forgiveness if we did anything unholy outside of marriage in his eyes. Also I'd love some prayers for us, it's always a good thing.

What's there to save up for? Together prepare yourselves by taking classes, reading books, etc. After that just marry the girl, the last thing you wanna do is be indebt because of a wedding, its not worth it and its the number one cause of divorce

Best wishes! I just popped the question about 6 months ago. Kudos on the financial preparation. Have a plan for every dollar you want to spend on the ring, wedding, etc. As was already well-said here:
