I out lifted the guy I was training with.. He was well over 200 lbs.. Although he isn't in shape at all (no offense to him.)

Well i helped set up the knitting stall for tomorrows church Bazaar/ fayre and then tried to work out how the second hand knitting machine works.

Barbell... lol no one should be using a smith machine for bench much less anything else.

Cool, just wanted to check you weren't cheating before offering respect :D
Seriously, when I last trained I could lift 2-3x as much weight using a machine as using free weights.

Also I do dumbbell press as well, usually only when I have no partner.

Thats good.
The best body weight to bench press ratio I ever seen was a guy at the gym years ago. He weighed 155 lbs and bench pressed about 420lbs if I remembered correctly. He said he did it in a competition and I believed him since I saw him doing 315lbs for 10 reps.

Thats freakish I am working towards 400 bench, 450 deadlift and 450 squat at 200 lbs.

When I weighed 110 I deadlifted 315. When I weighed 112 ish I squatted 235 but my back was messed up so I don't either of these exercises anymore... Bench is where I am strongest probably.
