(I don't struggle from porn addiction, but I do have some trouble with lust, which is a cousin to porn.)

One thing I was wondering was, is there a program or software that you can get that makes accessing porn harder? By this I mean that it would make the effort to get to porn a lot bigger effort, and all of the trouble that it would take would make it very discouraging. I don't know if it exists, but it could be an extra thing to do if it does.

Greetings! The is some fantastic software that does exactly what you're looking for! X3watch is accountability software designed to help with online integrity. When you browse the internet and access a site which may contain questionable material, the program will record the site name. A person of your choice (an accountability partner) will receive an email containing all questionable sites you may have visited. This information is meant to encourage open and honest conversation between friends and help you be more accountable to your online adventures. Here is a link for you to visit, I hope it helps you on your journey. http://x3watch.com/

I'll be praying for you,
mike

Upgrade to Vista. It makes accessing everything harder.

I use a program called Covenant Eyes. It tracks everything you do on the internet and sends it to people you designate as partners. Of course, your partners must subscribe to the software also.

I enjoy the fact that all my internet interaction is seen by someone who will keep me accountable. I keep them accountable as well.

My guy and I have installed K9 Protection on each others' computers. I am the administrator for his, he is the admin for mine. It's basically a child-proofing free software, but it works. It simply denies access. If one of us needs on a website for that for some reason is being blocked, it can be disabled for that one specific site for a specified increment of time or permanently, if the software is just being picky. But we've had great success with it thus far!
