Question about bibledatabase.net

Hi,

I was directed to this forum by bibledatabase.net; I hope you answer questions about that website.

Anyhow, when I go here: http://bibledatabase.net/html/kjv/index.html, it says that it's the 1611 KJV, but it sure looks like the 1769 KJV to me. Is this a mistake?

The source we got it form says it is the 1611. Hover, I wouldn't argue if someone proved it wasn't. Fact is, almost all of the electronic material on the web is scrounged from other sources and often A gets it from B who got it form C and so on, so the chain gets pretty long.

I couldn't even telly you what our original souce was since this dates back to 1999 and I never kept notes on that.

Ah, OK... Thanks for letting me know. It's probably the 1769 version, unless it's the 1611 with modern spelling...:hmm:...which would be rather odd--since the spelling is the biggest difference between the 1611 and 1769 KJVs--but as you say, there's no telling what the previous source(s) may have done with the text.
