Addams Family

I do not know why I am posting this or if this is even the right place to post if not sorry but here goes:

My father was an abuser for years my mother and I kept it a secret from the rest of the family, he on the other hand did not. For years he had been telling my mum’s sister that we abuse him. My mother and I found out all of this in 2007 after he had a stroke which made him worse. We took care of him because we thought it was the right thing to do. One night he went off on us, my mum became so mad she broke the dishes, she could not take it any more my father try to run me over with his wheelchair (he lost the use of his legs) so I put my on his leg to stop him ,it was also the leg he had surgery on, I wanted him to fill pane. The next day when my mum and I got back from work he was gone my mum’s sister and her husband help him move out he moved to be with his sister he lift us a massage on the answer phone saying sorry it did not work out
My mum’s sister hates us. we don’t know why he most have told her something
We know that she thinks we are going to hell because we wear all black some times she calls us “gothic” We have try to talk to her to tell the real story but she wants nothing to do with us
How can she call her self Christian
What should do if she try to start some thing at the family Reunion

Speak the truth. A 'true' christian will listen with love. Pray for everyone concerned. Don't try to run him down. Encourage at all times. Some people may never believe you - what is really important is your position before our Lord, not humans. It hurts, most of us have been there to a bigger or lesser degree.

Keep your focus on the Cross and those on the same path will always be at your side. Love SofTy.
