Hello, does anyone know of a publisher who will publish a book of acrostic poetry? I have a book that is currently being published but have several other books finished, however my current publisher will only publish one book at a time. I am looking for a publisher that I will not have to pay any fees to.

Friend, I have found that when searching for a publisher, it's always helpful to consult the "Writer's Market" book. The 2009 edition is already out and can be found at a book store for about $30 or most libraries will have it.

Andrew,
I found the same book at Amazon listed for around $20.00.
Better yet, someone told me of a free online reference source for writers :)

I typed in the word "Christ" and "Christianity" and found, already, three sources I am going to submit my work to. I've never done that before; always posted for free but now, finances are changing drastically and find the need to pull in a little money :help:

Has anybody ever tried a 'vanity press'?
I have thought about this for a topic I want to write about because I know in the Christian book industry, no-one would want to touch it.

I was getting ready to do a test post and happened upon this of yours.
I can highly recommend your trying DN Publishing, or Foothills Publishing. Also Rising Sun Publishing is another good one. I will be blunt and say it's not always easy to get something published. I wish you a lot of success with this! There are "vanity" presses that will publish
on demand and many do that, but I personally think
there's something great about being accepted, that is
having them want to pay, at least something! But
really either way is valid because it gets it published,
it gets your work preserved. This can and does mean
a lot to many poets. I highly suggest avoiding poetry dot
com at all costs. They are not very good and will not
help a poet's reputation at all.
Blessings with it!
