I honestly think Muhammed Ali would win. Mike Tyson is my personal boxing guy, but Muhammed Ali has both Power and Speed, while Mike leans more to just Power.

What you think?

Mike Tyson would lose. Tyson has a temper and control problem.
When he is not in control he loses his temper. Ali had a very good knack of staying in control and making his opponent lose control. Tyson could never stand up to Ali's mental toughness and hence would lose.

With Tyson, the mistake was made when boxers would come out at the opening bell and try to go toe-to-toe with him, feeding right into his strategy.
Ali, on the other hand knew how to stay away from an opponent and wait for the right opportunity to move in on them. Holyfield did it successfully and Ali would have done it as well.
I say Ali in 5

Ali better keep an especial guard over his ears though.

Ali would work that jab for 4 rounds then rope-a-dope him in the 5th.

Ali wins 4 of 5, but Tyson knocks him out(cold) in 1.

ali would take him, no problem. sonny liston was a big knock-out artist and ali took him out twice. besides, ali was much prettier than tyson.

Which Ali are we comparing? The 1964 -1967 Ali or the 1970-1981 Ali? There is a big difference. I think the 64-67 Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali would have danced and jabbed his way to a 15 round majority decision. The older Ali would not have been able to do this, he would have tied Tyson up in the clinches, perhaps rope-a -dope but it would have been a toss up to claim the winner. I would say this would be true if Ali was fighting a 21 yr old Tyson, and also if Tyson would have had Cus D'Amato as his trainer for the fight.

When I say vs, I mean both in their prime's, cause I think it'd be stupid to put a Old Ali against a Young Tyson, yes Ali would have experience, but he would also have a much easier chance to get hurt, then the young Tyson.
