Virus affects both Internet Explore and Mozilla. Any search on Google or Yahoo brings up ads instead of the websites you want to visit. You can see an example of this virus in action via a video I made this morning... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeqdsMbb0_8

Bad sites include:

Bizrate.com
Couponmountain.com
Everydayhealth.com
Izito.com
Kartoo.com
Metacrawler.com
Monstermarketplace.com
Searchexplorer.com
Snap.com
Surfwax.com
Turbo10.com
Uijiko.com

I tried running Ad-aware and AVG virus scan but they did not work. An Answerbag.com response suggested Cyberdefender for $49.

Thank you for your time. - Jason Goldtrap

I'm sorry you have a virus, that stinks. Do you know where you picked it up at?

No. I did click on a site called Zango which advertised a rerun of American Idol. I think that's where I got it.

Have you tried Spybot?? It is good at removing stuff like this. If it does not work you can go onto their message board and ask them about it and they will look into it and can help you clean your own system manually. (I had to do that a month ago over a Virtumondo infection)

... The very best solution I know of is to use Ubuntu Linux. I am running both Internet Explorer (only on the rare occasion that I need it) and Mozilla Firefox and it is impossible for them to become infected because there is no auto execute possible on any Linux Based Operating System. The moment you plug that hole in the kernel there can be no infection.
