Ok it say my windows security alerts won't update because its been disabled...I did not disable it...I followed the instructions for turning it back on but it goes back to disabled or I get an error message. I went to this site: http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

To try to manually update it as it suggested, but got that message. I followed all the instructions but as I said it re-sets itself to disabled or if i manage to get it changed to automatic and click to 'start' it..I get a pop up window with an error message in it:

Internet Explorer Script Error

Unspecified error

yea that is helpful... Now I could spend hours reading their links on getting more help...and trying to find where they actually talk about this problem ...or post on here and hope someone knows what I need to do to fix this problem. Thanks!

God bless

Moonglow, what version of Windoz and what service pack? Marline,, are you running service pack 3? If you do not know how to answer me put your cursor over the MY Computer icon on your desk top or in your start-up menu and right click. Scroll down the dropped menu and select Properties and there you will find the info on your system.
