Controversial Issues question

I was reading sticky in another section and found this statement...

if you're looking to debate on any doctrinal issues it would be more appropriate to start the thread in either Bible Chat (http://bibleforums.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=7) or Controversial Issues (http://bibleforums.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=48).

Curious, I tried and failed to enter the "Controversial Issues" area, was informed I didn't have permission to enter. What is necessary to get permission to read/post in this section?

I think you have to have over 100 posts before it shows up to you. Somewhere around here it's explained. Maybe under the FAQ tab.
