member's posts can't be found

I want to find posts for a member here but can't. It says he has made several, but when I search for them, I get the "sorry, no matches" message. What's up?

Search may be case-sensitive so be sure to type their name exactly and make sure the "Find all posts by this user" box is checked.

Additionally, there is a big box filled with forums to search for the post by this user at. If you want to find all their posts, make sure "Search All Open Forums" is the option selected.
