Hi y'all ... just saw the documentary titled "The Case for Christ" ... with Lee Strobel ... an atheist journalist husband ... and how he ended up... proving the truth to himself .... by trying to dis-prove "Jesus' case" ... using all the research and evidence. It's awesome. Anyone see this documentary?

I also deal with too many unbelievers in my life ... it's very frustrating and why I am on this forum to find Christian fellowship.

A prayer for us:

Dear Heavenly Father ...
please show us how to pray for
and deal with those who are unbelievers
in our lives and the lives of our loved ones.
Please let us know the difference between
when we have the strength to influence them
or when we are too weak and too easily
influenced by them ... and need to flee.
Please give us an abundance
of wisdom and discernment.

In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Take care all!

Cheyenne, I did see the "Case for Christ." So, that tells me that anyone out there who does their homework would come to know the truth!! Amen. There is lots of evidence for Christ, opposed to the lack of!!! Thank YOU, Lord for supplying us with the tools needed to help the lost. Glory to God.:pp:pp:pp

I have read the book and have been trying to get my husband to read it, but he hates reading so refuses. Is the documentary as good as the book? I might have to buy it for my husband and I to watch together. He's a very scientific person which is part of what stands in his way of being a believer (he wants rock solid evidence).

Yes, it is good. The books are better. But I recommend it and the other videos: Case for Faith and Case for the Creator. Get the books, get the videos, get the audio books and that way you can share them with anybody in any format that works best for them.

Grace & peace,

Joe

Hi LilyBT ... I'm slowly learning how to manuever around this forum. I seen your blog ... very sweet. My brothers and Father are hardcore scientific too ... actually the bro's are scientists. But to me ... that only proves Gods existence even more ... to me it goes hand in hand. Well ... there's this great show called "Creation Evidence". I catch it on regular T.V. on T.B.N. (Trinity Broadcasting Network) ... but it's also on cable and ... the host is a scientist who is a Christian ... and his guests are always other scientists who are also Christians ... and .... the stuff they are proving is so phenomenal and exciting and proving creation. This same man has a museum called Creation Evidence Museum ... located south of Fort Worth, Texas ... near or in a dinasour park. I think he may be a Christian Archeologist or paleontologist however you spell that. I actually got the d.v.d. of the Case for Christ from T.B.N. Their website is www.tbn.org. You can find out their programming schedule for Creation Evidence and maybe your husband can watch it.

It was recommended to me on this site, so I gave an unbeliever at my bible group, the Case for Christ, and bought one for myself so I knew what it was about.

Recently bought the Case for FAITH, also by said author. Only a couple of chapters in. Tackling the biggest obstacles to Christian faith. Already recommended it in Christian Answer section of this site. :pp SofTy.

I bought this at Sam's Club as just kind of a curiousity, and it really strengthened my faith.

I will say however than many of my non believer friends did not like how all of his interviews were with "clergy" and religious scholars...

I definitely think it is POWERFUL for someone seeking Christ.. but maybe not so good for those who have no interest in Him whatsoever.
