We had a chat room a couple years ago and guess what? It was very rarely used and the space was used for other things.

Not to mention that it was used to attack the board on a hacking level. Don't plan to repeat that either.

Chat rooms are ... messy. And from a moderation standpoint, can be a downright logistical nightmare (who wants to read through pages and pages of chatlogs? Not I). ;)
