I'm a bit bored, as I came here originally to just hang out and see what I could learn (and maybe teach), but I'm not allowed in the house because I might make a mess on the carpet. That's OK, the yard is big. But you guys should spend more time outside with me. :D

So, someone ought to start yet another topic. Then we can discuss that topic, and have a discussion about our discussion in this thread!

Through sheer force of will?

It must be.
Also, plastic surgery might work.

I think there might be at least 2 of them?

Further, if we extrapolate from the Welsh etymology of penguin as pen (head) and gwyn (white), or from the possible Latin etymology pinguis (fat), back through the KJV Strongs of cheret (an engraving tool, stylus, chisel) and either chuwr (white stuff), dar (pearl), or bariy' (fat, fed, plenteous), we unmistakably derive Barry White (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_White).

Now, as anyone reading the Song of Solomon knows, Barry White might sometimes be thought as more of a spiritual state of mind in a romantic and completely God-designed fashion consistent with the general gregariousness of penguins, their having no natural land predators, their monogamous consistency with God’s design of marriage, and the general classiness upon which human tuxedos are based. Thus, heretofore, forthwith, one might find that penguins are indeed throughout the Scriptures, as a kind of model of godly living. Though some might disagree.

Ah. So when our OP states that he is working on becoming a penguin, we can understand that he is trying to become more Godly. We should applaud this and indeed, strive for it ourselves!

...yes, but establishing penguins in the Bayou may prove problematic, bacause they prefer greater velocity and less swampinesses. :hmm:

Hmm, that does present a problem... :hmm:

Perhaps there's another animal of Godly attributes that people there could strive to become?

Frogs it is!
