View Full Version : How to have a perfect day...

A couple of years ago, I read an autobiography of a basketball coach named John Wooden.
In it, he said something that stays with me always... He said "You cannot have a perfect day unless you do something for someone that they can never repay"
I have found that to be oh so true. And whenever I'm having a bad day, I just randomly do something to make SOMEBODY ELSE lucky... and it starts coming back to me times two!
And that's why I love teaching at my church. Because doing hundreds of things for people who can never repay you, turns out to be the perfect life in the end.
Think about it.

Its so true, and when an opportunity to do good works is missed, truly that is a horrid feeling.
