I have come to the bitter conclusion that I can never get married with my nervous system in the condition it is in now. I have restless gen!tal syndrome and any stimuli worsens the disorder.
I am so miserable I tempted to do something drastic. Only someone with this disorder truly understands. It is extremely rare and is only reported in women. I am male which makes it even more rare.
Can any one relate? I don't want to live if this will never go away.

As a former health professional I have never heard that term. Do you mean restless LEG sydrome?
Can you describe what that is?

It must be rare. A Dr. Marcel Waldinger in the Netherlands coined the term. He thought the name would be better than the then current names of persistent sexu@l arousal disorder or persistent gen!tal arousal disorder. He thought there was a connection with restless legs syndrome sharing similar disease mechanisms.
So yes it may be related to restless legs syndrome. In a nutshell I am tortured by strange itching, spasmlike, bubbling, electricity, type sensations possesing a se*xual component, almost constantly. Many tasks worsen it. It is believed to be a nervous system disorder and really has liitle to do with se*.

I am praying for you Adam. I don't know anything about the disorder aside from what you have mentioned here, but while it may seem that there is no hope, remember that our God is a God of miracles. If it is His will, He can heal you of this ailment. It may be that He has a purpose for you through this.
Maybe you will marry one day, maybe you won't, but God has a calling for you.
Keep praying.

*Mod hat on*
Just FYI I had to delete a couple of unhelpful posts in this thread, and so if your post was a response to that, it went by way of deletion too, so if you find a post missing, that is why.
Carry on.
P.S. Adam, I'm sorry that you're going through this and I pray your doctor can help you find treatment, or that the Lord give you grace and heal you or help you bear up under it.

:) Have you or are you on any meds like viagra, or male enhancement drug, or hormones? I have experience unfavorable results like that when I was on sexual hormones. One website says you may experience depression prior to the systoms.

Website: A new syndrome affecting women has been identified by doctors; the sexual condition tentatively named 'Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome', (PSAS), has as its primary symptom continual unrelieved feelings of genital arousal in the absence of genuine sexual interest or desire.
According to researchers David Goldmeier and Sandra Leiblum, PSAS in women has been unrecognised until now and exists when a woman becomes involuntarily aroused for extended periods of time in the absence of sexual desire. I contacted Sandra Leiblum by email but she brushed me off. The Netherlands doctor listened however. It seems American Doctors are the rudest, least approachable and conceited of all doctors in the world...
The links are helpful. I'll look into them. I know something like this is nearly impossible for most people to understand. I told my mom that it is really hard to believe the degree to which a human body can become diseased. Thanks.

P.S. I have been on many drugs that might have caused this. Risperidone, clonazapam to name a few.

I know what you mean, I am a white American and I prefer foreign doctors. I have a african doc as my primary doc.

I am sorry for complaining. It does not matter if I marry. God said he will save me and that is all that matters.
