Virus on software?

When downloading Matthew Henry Commentary B_MH.EXE I received a virus warning (Trend Micro OfficeScan): PAK_Generic.001.

Please advise.

It's been there for years, it's clean. I'm pretty sure of that.

I downloaded it the first time in 2001, and no virus is detected on the 2001 file.

Yesterday I did an integrity check of the commentaries, and got the message:

CRC Calculation for: C:\Program Files\BibleDatabase\Modules\Commentary\b_mh.txt [Matthew Henry] in progress. This could take a minute or two depending on the speed of your computer. Please stand by...
The CRC has changed on file b_mh.txt. since it was last calculated
Calculated:344253094364914661
From File: 348315462364915812
This means the data in the file has changed.
It is STRONGLY SUGGESTED YOU RE INSTALL THIS MODULE!!

I reinstalled the 2001 file, got the same message upon integrity check, and therefore went back to the website to download the software again, assuming mine got corrupted, and that is when I got the message of the virus.

The CRC did change a few years back when a better version of the MH was found. Just delete the old CRC and allow it to use the new one. If you read the article, PAK_Generic.001 is not a virus but a signature that may match certain malicios malware. MH just happens to have a similar signature.
