Stop it.
God is still on His throne, and nobody is falling off the planet any time soon.
The Creator of all that is, has His eyes on you. Get your eyes right back on Him, and not the things you hear or see or read. Focus on the Lord and not on man's interpretation of the Bible nor anybody's timeline, which is probably not accurate anyway.
So what if we die? Our God is eternal and we are safe in His arms. Doesn't matter much how we get there, does it? Jesus has already gone before us and we are safe with Him when that time comes for us, and He will meet us and take us through it. God is merciful, and He loves you. Let Him calm your fears and stop making yourself crazy over things that may or may not happen. Focus on Jesus instead, right now. :hug:

Jesus is the beginning AND the end. Isn't that wonderful? He has to be, because we need Him to be.
So whatever "end" there is, He has already been there and is waiting for us there and is also here with us now, every step of the way. This is why I said, focus on Jesus, because He has already overcome the world, and the things in it, and its appointed end, too. But the end of the world, isn't our end. Because we are in Christ. :)

I was thinking about earth and the end of it and the signs and out of no where a thought came in "man why do i have to live at the end of the world why cant i just die" after that thought i am going crazy.I do know what you are going through. I too have been thinking about the future, but of my Government, not the Tribulation time. I have been worrying about a anti-God, socialist state (U.S.) and the freedom that they are going to take away from me. Also, what they are going to imposed on us. Every time my heart is troubled I think of the "snatching away" being iminent and all fears melt away.
Jesus said, "Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in me, believe also in God." God has you, my friend, and he is going to bring you home."
Psalms 91:
1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2I will say of the LORD,
He is my refuge and my fortress:my God; in him will I trust.
3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,
and from the noisome pestilence.
4He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;
nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;
nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7A thousand shall fall at thy side,
and ten thousand at thy right hand;but it shall not come nigh thee.
8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold
and see the reward of the wicked.
9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge,
even the Most High, thy habitation;
10there shall no evil befall thee,
neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11For he shall give his angels charge over thee,
to keep thee in all thy ways.
12They shall bear thee up in their hands,
lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Dear ~Godrocks~,
Thanks so much for your sincere post! I am not sure that we've actually met before here at Bibleforums, but it certainly is nice to have you here!! :pp :pp :pp I was thinking about earth and the end of it and the signs and out of no where a thought came in "man why do i have to live at the end of the world why cant i just die" after that thought i am going crazy. Now its night and sorta scared to go to bed since i had the though of dieing:B Please Pray????? I think it is very important to make Christ, and what He has done, and God the Father, the center of our thinking, and the context for our thinking, the staring place and ending place -- as DaniHansen so rightly says -- because that is the truth of the matter. God is the one who holds our life; God is the very center of our being; God is our author and source, and God is the one who governs and protects our lives even to the end!!
Again and again the Bible tells us not to be afraid. Jesus tells us Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 Again He says I say to you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. ... Look at the birds air: for they don't sow or reap or gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you much better than they are? ... And why take worry about clothes Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they don't toil or spin: but I tell you even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed so beautifully as one of these. So if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is today, and to morrow is cast into the oven, won't he much more clothe you ...? So don't worry, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? ... your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matt 6:26-33 The whole theme of the New Testament teaches us not to be anxious. Paul advises the Philippians, at the end of his letter to them Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. ...
Don't be anxious about anything, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Phil 4:4, 5-8 It is important, in understanding Paul's instruction here, to remember the context of the letter. Paul is in prison, and, ultimately, on his way to execution at the hands of the Romans. He writes the letter to the Philippians to calm them, for many are (understandably) afraid that what happened to Paul -- being imprisoned and perhaps killed for their faith in Christ -- might happen to them.
But the whole keynote of Paul's letter is that of rejoicing and thanksgiving! Paul says it is really a wonderful thing that he's a prisoner -- for through this many have come to know the gospel!! He says that even if he dies, he will go to be with Christ, which is his final joy and reward -- but that he wants to stay around in these difficult times so that he can help others, and encourage them in the faith! Repeatedly he tells them to rejoice! And in the passage I just quoted, therefore, he emphasizes that God is caring for us even in troubled circumstances, and that we can therefore be cheerful and happy, even amid troubles. We give all this to God, and learn to depend not on ourselves, or on good times and circumstances, but on God who loves us so dearly, and powerfully, and who will take care of us! This -- and no other way -- is how we come to dwell solidly in Christ's peace.
It's not easy, I know: it's an area where I'm not so hot (I'm a rather anxious person) and where I need to grow!
Finally, Paul emphasizes that rather than letting ourselves dwell on terrors or ugly things that are happening, or might happening, we need to nourish ourselves by thinking about God's goodness, and about many lovely things that He gives us!!
I often think that dwelling on ideas about the end-times, or about what's wrong in our society, is something that is not good, for many people. These fill the mind of many with images of destruction and terror. We need to be aware that, in every age, there have been troubles -- often very bad ones -- but our focus should be upon God and what He has done, about His beauty and goodness, about the way that He always helps those who trust in Him, and upon what He has done for us in Christ!!
As Paul says in Romans 8, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
He that did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would it be possible that he wouldn't also freely give us all things?
It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. No indeed! in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31-32, 34-39
May God send you peace, and every good thing!!

Ok thanks for that 'DaniHansen' but what should i do about the bad thoughts that come?
I personally crank up the praise music and get into my Bible and bring these matters before the Lord. If you're being tormented by fear, then I suggest you settle it with God. :)

It's no problem. I personally have more questions than answers still after 17 years of walking with the Lord, but I am satisifed that Jesus is the Answer to all that ails me, and that's all I'm trying to get across. We're all here to encourage each other and point one another to the Lord, because we could all stand more of Him, don't you think?
Love you. :kiss:
